Twelve contractors, including six from Veneto, took part in the 2024 edition of the “Contractor Safety Forum”, an annual event organized to meet with the safety managers of the companies working with Adriatic LNG.

The event took place in Rovigo, and gathered over thirty professionals, involved in a morning of dialogue and constructive discussion, focused on the theme of prevention and protection of workers' safety, a fundamental value for the company which operates the regasification terminal off the Veneto coast.

"The Contractor Safety Forum is an important moment for Adriatic LNG to come together, exchange ideas, and above all share objectives and approaches to work with our contractors. Promoting a concrete safety culture is one of the pillars on which our company is based" - commented Alfredo Balena, Director of the Security, Safety, Health, Environment & Regulatory Department of Adriatic LNG. "Day by day, we are committed to ensuring a healthy and safe working environment and, at the same time, through training programs and initiatives, to raise awareness of the key role that prevention plays in any context of life. Adriatic LNG constant commitment was rewarded by tangible results: 2023 was indeed the third consecutive year for us without any type of incident."

The event also included a lecture-performance on safety, conducted by Terenzio Traisci, a doctor in occupational psychology with a background as a professional comedian. Traisci engagingly and humorously guided the audience in discovering the mechanisms of automatic emotional reactions and the ingredients that promote attention and concentration, aiming to achieve a free and clear mind, as well as a positive attitude towards work.

"Through this performance, we wanted to continue experimenting with new languages, reaching our employees and collaborators in a fun and emotional way too, with the ultimate goal of promoting the adoption of real changes in lifestyles, as well as increasing awareness and sense of responsibility" - concluded Alfredo Balena.
