Drive safe with Adriatic LNG

“Vado Sicuro”, the road safety educational project addressed to kids of nursery, primary and secondary schools ended with a 2-day award ceremony. Adriatic LNG has been supporting the project G since 2007; in this last edition the Company strengthened its commitment by being one of the main partners of the initiative, together with the Province of Rovigo. This effort shows that safety is an essential value and an unconditional priority for Adriatic LNG.

Adriatic LNG’s commitment is reflected not only in the intensive promotion of safety culture inside the Company, addressed to employees and contractors. Adriatic LNG also contributes to raise awareness among young people of Polesine: it promotes safety and respect for rules thanks to the involvement of schools, families and police, who give safety road lessons to students.

Prevention, education and information are essential actions and if performed steadily they bring concrete results: last data disseminated by the Police concerning the province of Rovigo show a reduction in the number of road accidents during the last years. Adriatic LNG believes that a project like “Vado Sicuro” that educates kid to live within the law and to be aware of the road hazards has given its contribution to this significant decrease.
The social value of “Vado Sicuro” has been recognized also by the President of the Senate and of the Chamber of Deputies, from whom it received a medal of merit.
