Adriatic LNG with “Le Dune” Association for a new partnership to protect Po Delta’s environment

Adriatic LNG, as a company that has always supported Polesine’s associations, has established a new partnership with “Le Dune” association, a group of volunteers who works to defend and safeguard the environment. Thanks to Adriatic LNG’s support, the association “Le Dune” will be able to foster its activity aimed at promoting the Archeological Park of the “fossil dunes,” a true oasis of biodiversity where you can observe the evolution of the coastline of the last 2000 years.

The new partnership has been presented by Dismo Milani, president of “Le Dune” association and Lisa Roncon of Adriatic LNG, together with Alessandro Palli, Councilor for Environment of the Municipality of Porto Viro and Marco Gottardi, Director of the Po Delta Park.

Adriatic LNG will contribute to the renovation and technological improvement of the Archeological Park’s visitor center. The facility is used to welcome visitors: here, tourists are given information regarding the environment and are shown the peculiarities of the “fossil dunes” located in Porto Viro’s pinewood. Moreover, Adriatic LNG’s contribution will allow launching a rich calendar of events: throughout 2016 visitors will be guided through the Park to observe and study flora and fauna.

The partnership with the association “Le Dune” is part of a wider project that Adriatic LNG has been carrying out during these years through several forms of collaborations – in the social, cultural, educational and sports fields - with local associations and institutions aiming at Polesine’s promotion.
