Adriatic LNG celebrates a year of achievements
Adriatic LNG concluded 2017 with a special event organized in Porto Viro to celebrate the important achievements of the year. For the first time, the company brought together the employees of the three sites - Milan, Porto Viro, offshore terminal - and the representatives of the territory with which it collaborates: from local authorities to public officials, from suppliers to the partners of the initiatives for the local community.
2017 has been a significant year for Adriatic LNG: the inauguration of the new Shore Base and the 500th LNG vessel were the main events, but the regasification terminal this year has also received the first LNG cargoes from the United States and Nigeria and brought its annual average utilization rate to 85% (69% in 2016) reaching peaks of over 95% in July and September. In line with the vision of Adriatic LNG, these results have been achieved by putting safety first and respecting the environment.
During the night, Adriatic LNG honored its guests with a photographic book dedicated to the Po Delta. The volume, "Il grande Delta. Terra di confine fra acqua e cielo” (The Great Delta. A land between water and sky) was made in collaboration with the photographer of Porto Viro, Luciano Siviero, and it collects images that explore the fascinating delta territory and tell the daily life of its inhabitants.
