“La Fenice Theatre” of Venice welcomes the winners of Adriatic LNG wind instrument award

On Saturday 19 November La Fenice Theatre of Venice hosted the awarding ceremony of “Adriatic LNG dà il LA ai Giovani Musicisti Veneti”, the wind instrument award run by Adriatic LNG in collaboration with the Conservatory of Rovigo, in order to give an opportunity to the young talents of Veneto and encourage them in their future careers.
With reference to the "Soloists" category, the jury decided to award with the 1st-place prize two students: 17-year-old flutist Beatrice Lanaro (Conservatory of Vicenza) and 22-year-old clarinetist Stefano Borghi (Conservatory of Rovigo). With respect to "Chamber groups" category, the award was won by "Trio Ciospeghe" (Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto) while the Conservatory of Rovigo orchestra was the winner among bands and other wind instrument orchestras. Last but not least, Linda Zecchini (Conservatory of Verona) was awarded as the best accompanying pianist.

After performing the same pieces assessed last October by the jury, the winners have been officially awarded by Giuseppe Fagnocchi, the director of Rovigo Conservatory, Lisa Roncon, on behalf of Adriatic LNG, the other directors of Veneto conservatories and the jury itself.
Many institutions attended the event too, in order to praise the young talents and the organizers of the Award. Among them, the president of Rovigo Province, Marco Trombini, the deputy mayor of Rovigo, Ezio Conchi, the councilor for culture of Rovigo, Andrea Donzelli, Veneto regional councilor, Graziano Azzalin, and senator Bartolomeo Amidei.
