“A sea of energy”

Adriatic LNG has launched “A sea for Energy”, the photographic contest promoted and organized in collaboration with "Athesis" cultural association (Boara Pisani, Padua), "La Confraternita del Fotofilò" photographic circle (Stanghella, Padua) and "L'Obiettivo” photographic circle (Dolo, Venice), under the patronage of the Italian Federation of photographic associations (FIAF).

Focused on the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, the contest aims to promote and value both the natural beauty which characterizes the area, and the important role the Sea plays for local communities, from a cultural and economic point of view.

In addition to a free section, professional and amateur photographers can choose to follow two specific themes. The first one, called "The man and the sea", focuses on the different aspects that have always characterized the relationship between humans and the sea: from the role of the sea as a life source to sports challenges, from tourism to explorations. The second one, "Seascapes", is dedicated to the natural aspects that distinguish the Northern Adriatic and its various landscapes, full of luxuriant plants and populated by an extraordinary variety of animals.

Through the promotion of this contest, Adriatic LNG wants to celebrate the Northern Adriatic Sea, which hosts the regasification terminal. Since 2008, within this area Adriatic LNG has built important relationships with the local community based on growth, support and development. Hence, the decision to make local professional and amateur photographers realize an original work dedicated to this extraordinary sea, where the energy of nature combines with the initiative of man.
