Milan, 29th July 2016 - Adriatic LNG, the company that operates the off shore regasification terminal located off the Veneto coastline, informs that, starting from tomorrow, July 30th, until about mid August, an extraordinary maintenance work will be carried out on the terminal.

In order to minimize the impacts on gas supply, the maintenance will be carried out concurrently with a maintenance that SNAM Rete Gas had already planned on gas pipelines, which requires the temporary closure of gas delivery as well.

In accordance with maintenance procedures and Adriatic LNG highest safety standards, before starting the maintenance, regasification operations will be reduced to the minimum. This will allow the terminal to work regularly without delivering gas to the National Network pipelines.

In order to maintain the high safety standards and keeping at the same time emissions within the authorized limits, during the extraordinary maintenance the torch on the terminal may be activated, being consequently visible during the period concerned, both from the sea and the coastline.
